I try to have a musical style running through each of my album releases and this time it is Funk. So we have loads of brass, guitar and thick and groovy bass and drums. I've re-mixed one of my favourite songs that I've ever written, Chasing Rainbows (which was originally on 2012's The Return of Innocence) re-recording the vocal and replacing some synths with real brass and strings. For this album I've also paid more attention to production values and I think this my most polished recording to date. Usual themes apply, lost love, unrequited love and memories of places and times gone by.
